There is a laundry list of things going on in the Italian American community as we speak. Luckily, the blog of Italian American Girl is on top of most of them. Always check here frequently to find out when the next Italian T.V. special is on or when a nearby museum is showcasing an Italian exhibit. Capital Italian American Organization (CIAO Tallahasee)
CIAO embodies everything we stand for at ItalianAware- defending our culture from stereotypes and promoting positive Italian content. They also aid in Italian Study Abroad programs at local Florida universities. Help support them and our culture!

Elena_SC's Blog
Similar in fashion to Italian American Girl, Elena's blog consists of many different Italian musings- with a twist: Elena is an Italian currently living in Canada. It is always great toget the perspective of Italians living in other countries. Definitely a must for your blog subscriptions.

Italian American One Voice Coalition
Stereotypes are a real problem in the Italian community, and it is always nice to see other Italian organizations combat them and rally against them. The blog also lists, on a very regular basis, upcoming Italian American events

The Italic Institute of America-
Focuses on advancing the Italian language and culture through school based initiatives. It also serves as a media watchdog group.

The Order Sons Italy In America-
The largest and oldest Italian American organization. The organization has grown since its founding over 100 years ago in to being the largest advocacy group for Italian Americans, with over 700 chapters nationwide.

The National Organization of Italian American Women-
Straight from the site's mission statement, "The National Organization of Italian American Women is a sisterhood of diverse women from varied professional backgrounds. Members include doctors, lawyers, artists, scientists, nurses, businesswomen, educators, writers, judges, and women working in the home. It is the only national membership organization for women of Italian ancestry.
