Its
the cavalier attitude with which the word is used that bothers me.
Guido is never a proper descriptor of a person, much the way the "n"
word is never acceptable. There are no degrees, no shades of
acceptability- the term is simply offensive. To think that someone,
Italian or not, would run around a beach finding people he felt were
"Guidos" is unbelievable. This video has 1 million hits....and no one
seems to be concerned about how it damages the Italian image.
